This blog has been established so that all the children from Upper Harbour Primary School can share their learning with the wider school community and other schools in the world. Introducing CLUES!!
The CLUES Inquiry model is our way at UHPS of discovering new learning. Each letter stands for the next step in the learning journey. Below are the letters and what they stand for:
C- apturing the "Big Picture": Building a knowledge base around a "big question/purpose"
L-ooking for Direction: Creating questions to help form clear directions of where we want to go and a plan for how we will get there.
U-ncovering the facts and examining the evidence: Gathering, sorting and examining the information so we can create new knowledge or take action.
E-ngaging in Action: Presenting information or taking action of some kind.
S-haring the Journey: Sharing and evaluating our learning and actions with others.
